Lucas is a proud husband of 14.5 years to Janna Hart and father to five beautiful children: Stone (12); Rusty (10); Van (8); Sawyer (6) and Leo (18 months). Lucas is a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served a two year full-time mission in the Florida Tampa and Orlando Missions from 1997-1999. His mission taught him the value of service and putting others before themselves in word and deed.
Born and raised in the Midwest, Deborah is the middle child of three girls. She grew up in Decatur, Illinois and graduated from the University of Illinois with a Bachelor of Arts in Finance and Economics. In college, Deborah participated in a study abroad program in Salzburg Austria where she met her future husband. Her career began at the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago as an Associate Economist. Deborah moved to Denver in the summer of 1984 to be near Chris, her husband.

Upon finishing her undergraduate degree at Baylor University, Rachel was a Rotary Ambassadorial Scholar in Central America, where she worked on several community development projects with local Rotarians. She came back to the United States to earn a M.A. in Economics and a M.A. in International Development from the University of Denver.
Larry Shermer was born and raised in North Carolina near Winston-Salem and is a graduate engineer of N.C. State University. His work history included 10 years in glass container manufacturing before joining the Coca-Cola Company in technical operations for glass packaging.
