Several of us attended a fellowship session at ActionCOACH on February 7, 2013 looking at how to use social media for marketing our businesses. Cathy Stamps, from Biro Partners Creative Services, gave a wonderful presentation on some different social media options for marketing our businesses. It was so great, that several of us are asking her to do a longer session so we can ask more questions and get more great ideas!

A lifelong resident of Colorado, Stu passed away August 9, 2012, in Lakewood at age 86 years. I had the pleasure of knowing Stu since we were fraternity brothers at Denver University in the 40’s, and also worked with him on alumni projects in the 50’s and 60’s.
When I joined the Rotary Club of Denver in 1969, I found out that Stu was heavily involved in Rotary International and had served as President of the Lakewood Rotary Club in 1963-64. I also learned that he was the father of our Youth Exchange Program in this part of the Rotary World, and claimed dozens of our foreign students as “his children”.
He was the Rotarian Leader of Rotary’s Group Study Exchange team to Wales and his outstanding team of young men went on to become Rotarians in their home towns when they returned, and later one became a District Governor from our Boulder Rotary Club.
